I had to throw away my math notebooks from 2019 fall...quite sad at that, I always have a hard time of discarding anything about classes because of my gigantic respect to knowledge (especially in the subjects that I love). But I think the biggest respect I can give to my courses is to know how to apply those knowledge.

Newsletter: I have been subscribed to The Berkeley Lab newsletter and had been receiving great articles about scientific improvements Innovation: Global Methane Emission from Wetland Simulation Today my ME 106 class (Fluid Mechanics) ended. It was a great quest, and I feel sad to leave the class like I often feel when I leave other classes. It was absolutely an honor to have Jocelyn Bale-Glickman as our instructor, and I am really glad I found fluid mechanics is a super interesting topic that I might be able to explore more in the future.
I so much want to pursue an academic career now after further realizing how much I love research and my always-existing appreciation to knowledge. I think when people are able to always have the feeling that they are going to cry because of something they just learnt is so pretty (for example, in a mechanical engineering class), they ought to explore a career on academic.
One of the biggest inspirations that I got from Harry Potter is that I want to become a research university professor so much! People: Frances Allen |
